This submission guide was created to show you what you have to do in a step by step manner in order to become one of our models and submit your first diary (as well as updates). Here you can see the detailed instructions on how to register for your first diary submission. It’s easy if you follow all the instructions listed below. Please be attentive and your diary submission will be very easy for you. Here you can find answers to most (if not all) of the
questions that might arise during your first diary submission.
Please note, this is not an automatic wizard, these are only recommended instructions about what to do.
For your convenience we have separated it into 6 important parts:

Part 5: Typical mistakes - the most typical mistakes that may lower your payment.

Let’s take a closer look at what you will have to do. Registration won’t take a lot of your time, but we do ask you to be attentive when providing us with your personal information. Remember - We do not share any model’s personal data, but we need it to send you your payment checks.
You are at the page For Models now and if you click on Register new model link or Click here for your first diary submission you will be prompted to register yourself as a PhotoConfessions new model.

First step – http://www.photoconfessions.com/content/model_panel/register.php. We recommend that you fill out all the information spaced which are on the form and not just those which are marked as required; this will prevent delays with your payment checks.

Second step – http://www.photoconfessions.com/content/legal2257_page.php. Get acquainted with our submission polices mark it as “read.” Then press the Register button.

Third step – After you’ve completed the text fields and agreed to our submission policies your registration is completed. You will see the new Status window “Your account is created, please login.” Simply click on this text link and you will be prompted to enter your model account, which you have just created in order to login and begin your submission process.

You’ve created a new model account. Please enter your Login and Password which you just created and press the Send data button.

From now on you may use this link to enter your model account for further updates and changes http://www.photoconfessions.com/content/model_panel/login.html. Make sure you’ve added this page to your bookmarks using your browser (or simply pressing CTRL+D).

At this page you can also find one more link called “Register new model.”This was created for your convenience in order to register new models from the same page where you login to your account.

NOTE! Don’t press Register new model if you already have an active account, this can mess up your data! Use this option only if you want to start up the registration for another model!

After you login to your model account the next page you have to complete is Personal data. Here you have to upload the copy of your ID to verify your age. One copy is sufficient. It should be an official picture ID (e.g. Passport, Driver’s license, State Issued ID). By law we are required to keep this information private. We have to have the evidence that you are over 18 years of age on file at all times. This also insures that you are the owner of the diary and do not impersonate anyone. Upload a copy of your ID to verify your age. We also ask you to submit a copy of ID for any person who appears on explicit photos/videos with you. Simply scan their IDs together with yours on one sheet and upload it to our site as a single file.

NOTE! This step cannot be skipped! Until you upload your age verification documents none of the pages from your diary will be reviewed or accepted. Make sure you provide us with a clear and readable copy with no corners or other information missing (must be a clearly scanned and legible copy of your ID).

We recommend that you read carefully all the text blocks that you can see on any one of the submission pages. Some of them contain the information we asked about by models. It would be better if you read them first and later made up your mind as to whether or not you want to follow our lead or use your own ideas for these sections.

We do not require a picture with you handling the passport next to your face or copies of all your government documents. Upload 2 documents only if you perform with another person on the content which you are uploading to our site.

We will absolutely keep this information confidential! In order for us to list your content we have to comply with US Government "All models are 18 and older" Custodian Of Records (18 U.S.C. Section 2257) regulations. This means we have to have your id on file to prove that you are over 18. We are required by law to keep this information confidential and cannot show it to ANYONE. In short nobody will see your ID.

We kindly ask you DO NOT ADD OTHER IMAGES to this section!!! Your diary will not be approved and will be suspended automatically.

After copy of your ID is uploaded to our site, you can go to the next section by clicking Continue on to introduction or click Introduction in main menu on the left on the screen to start uploading your diary content.

When you’re done with your Personal data, you may start uploading your content. It’s not required that you finish all the pages in one shot. Our project is always opened and there is no a deadline for submission. But if we notice after few months since you began your diary submission that your diary is still empty, you’ll be notified by our moderator who will remind you to finish it. If we do not get any response after notification or if we receive mail delivery about non existing e-mail address - your account will be frozen and if you will want, in the future to go back, you’ll have to start the registration process from the very beginning.

After you’re done with your introduction page you have to create a blog. Your blog is very important to make our customers interested in your diary. It would be great if you can catch someone’s curiosity from the first couple of lines of your blog entry.

>Remember that you are “writing” an erotic diary and erotic fantasies or real stories from your sexual life would be exactly what our customers are interested about in the life of the “girl next door.”

>Try not to write about things you wouldn’t be interested in if you were reading about someone else’s sex life. Just imagine yourself as a customer and think if you’d be curious to read about “how I did a fresh manicure today” or “life sucks I hate being human.”

Be unique and interesting and you’ll have a lot of paying customers who will keep coming back to your diary and increasing your stats.

Note! First submission requires three blog entries, about 300 symbols for your diary to be accepted!

>Use the Add new blog record button to add new blog text every time you are going to write a new story.

>Save your blog text before you go to another page. If you are not sure about your story just do not mark Publish icon. Text that is not marked will not be published.

Your next step is the creation of your profile in catalog. Upload 10 photos which describe any of your diary episodes. This will be the front and very first piece of your diary seen by customers. Make it exciting! Use the Resize & Crop button if you need to change pictures sizes. See the example at §1.3.

Compete all the text fields in your catalog and don’t forget to Save catalog text .

Here you create and edit you diary episodes. We propose you 2 Diary Types: Photo and Photo/Video.

Let’s see what options are avaliable here to manage your episodes.

Last step is the creation of your forum page. You can post any topics for discussion here and we urge you to use topics which are sexual and interesting in nature. Use text styles and smile icons to express yourself better and add a personal touch to your forum page.

You are free to open any discussion you think may be interesting to people reading your diary.

You can manage your forum page from your model menu at any time. You cannot delete your posted or others’ posted topics. There are no limits placed on the number of discussions you can open. Experiment and you will find out what your customers are willing to talk about.

To prevent a mess at your page all the replays to chosen topic are hidden under related link.

This part is very important and must be read by all models-recent and newly registered. Why? Because we are constanty answering tons of emails from models who are not, for reasons which escape us, willing to read our FAQ http://www.photoconfessions.com/content/faq.php or just do not pay attention on things written there. Here you can find the detailed examples of typical submission mistakes and why we lower payment for some diaries.

As it was written in our Model’s FAQ page, Photoconfessions.com reserves the right to lower payments by about 15-25% if the submission does not meet our requirements. By starting a submission, we consider that you have agreed with our rules and policies.

1) Not enough photo-video content: When you start your first submission you get aquainted with our minimal requirments. It s ays that we ask you for 6 introductory photos, 15-30 photos per episode, 1 video interview and 2-3 videos matching some of your episodes. Also we ask you for 5 diary episodes to pay you $400, the diary of 3-4 episodes would be paid less depending on your content.

Let’s have a look now at the typical mistakes made by models:
                - a diary episode consists of 3-5 pictures;
                - introduction page completed with less than required 6 pictures;
                - introduction video missing or there is an inappropriate video;
                - no videos posted for diary episodes;
                - catalog page is not completed with the required 10 pictures;

2) Neither Erotic nor Explicit content: This is a diary of adult nature, which means sexually oriented content is a must!

The following types of photos are considered to be erotic and explicit:
                - full naked body shots;
                - striping;
                - showing sexual body parts: breasts, genitalia, close-up;
                - touching sexual body parts: touching genitalia, breasts, masturbation, using fingers, sex toys, squirting;
                - female couple: showing sexual body parts opened, streaptease, masturbation, using fingers, sex toys, close-up, squirting;
                - female-male couple: genitalia opened, close-up, penetration.

We do not accept diary consisting of non nude pictures. Non nude pictures also are not paid as updates.

Note! To update your diary with non nude pictures is not forbidden; if you think they can describe any part of your life or you really want to show off yourself from a different perspective (for example you got some glamorous bikini shots or lingerie shots). But such sets won’t be paid for.

3) Bad photos: This is one of the most popular reasons we can lower payment or do not accept a diary at all.

Here you can find the examples of what photos we consider bad quality or forbidden:
                - Photos with 320x240 resolution or lower;
                - Too bright or too dark photos;
                - You are too far to be seen;
                - Out of focus, blurry photos;
                - Photoshop altered photos: While Photoshop type programs give you a lot of fun tools to use, please keep it to a minimum. Light decoration is fine, but your email address and other personal or promo information are not allowed;
                - No anime or cartoons of any kind;
                - No collages: Yes, it's difficult to decide just which photo to use, but please post one per page;
                - No inappropriate hand gestures. It's just rude;
                - Underage sexual activity, bestiality, incest, demonstration of blood or animals, and mimicking the above mentioned is against our rules. Role playing which includes the portrayal of an underage person engaging in sexual or explicit act or activities is against the rules. Any attempt to display text material that is offensive, suggestive of pedophilia, adolescence (minors), bestiality and zoophilia, refers to elimination or consumption of any bodily waste or implies words that are unacceptable by the standards of good taste is strictly forbidden.

4) Same photos submitted few times: We do not accept diary episodes where you submit same pictures several times. Same pictures from your episodes may appear only at you introduction, catalog and diary left menu, but we recommend keep it to a minimum.

Please do not submit them if you don’t have enough content to complete the diary.

5) Ignoring Resize&Crop option: This tool was created specially for models to fix photos in wrong proportions. It’s a poor view to be honest to watch diaries where models add photos in not recommended sizes and do not even trying to fix them. Nothing is going on here automatically. If you don’t have time or the desire to fix it, another person will do it instead of you who will get paid the money which would have gone to you. So, with a little attentive practice, you can upload your content to our site and get paid regularly.

6) Bad videos: We ask our models to add videos because this could be an additional income to regular payments. Our premium customers can donate, through a special donation engine built into all the videos, to our models. Please keep this in mind if you are thinking of submitting a video of poor quality (like one taken with a cell phone). Imagine yourself as a customer looking at your own video from another point of view – Would you donate?

Here are some points that will definitely lower your paycheck:
                - Videos of 320x240 resolution or lower;
                - Bad lightening: Darkness and shadows are good for Halloween, not for erotic video;
                - Background noise: TV, another persons talking to you, any other loud noises that do not match video stuff;
                - Videos that are too short in length: Please, keep in mind that none of the customers would be excited with 1 min video without having any idea what’s going on there.
                - Slideshows: PowerPoint presentation is not considered as a video;
                - Videos without erotic or explicit actions (only video interview is allowed to be non nude);
                - No videos at all: Sorry, such diary would not be accepted;
                - Not enough videos for submission or updates: We have exactly requirements and it would be great if you follow them;
                - Videos recorded by your mobile phone: Please keep them for your friends and fun alone;
                - Too much movie effects: Please keep in mind that not everyone would like it and understand your creative nature;
                - Videos without photos in episode: It’s great if you have photos matching to video, but if you have only video you can do at least some screen shots. Do not post a separate video.
                - Video does not matching the photos at the same episode;
                - Copyrighted videos or videos without you acting there.

7) Empty blogs: Your payment may be lowered for empty or incomplete blogs. First submission requires three blog entries about 300 symbols for your diary to be accepted!

Your blog is an additional way for you to keep premium customers coming back to your diary. Our customer, like most adult premium users, are typically not interested in everyday matters, they want to see spicy action described in your own words - they want to know about your sexual activity and fantasies. Let them read about what they want to know most.

Remember that everything you left incomplete or made a mistake in will result in a deduction from your payment.

8) Empty text fields in diary episodes: Please keep in mind that you are submitting a diary not a photo-album! Phrases like “it’s me”, “my bed” are primitive and are not appealing to our members who are looking for your sexiness to come out not only in your image contents but also in your own words.

9) Empty forum page: You forum page is a way to communicate with customers and other models. First submission requires at least one opened forum discussion.

10) A mess in your diary: This may also lower your payment. We kindly ask you to read Model’s FAQ and Submission Guide for not having a mess while you upload anything. Do not upload all your videos or pictures on one page instead of separating them. This will make the reviewing process for your diary much more difficult for us.
