But what if you’ve already uploaded pictures in correct proportions but they still look stretched?
Have a look at the "Resize & Crop" button. You can find it within every one of your pages which deals with uploading photos. Just choose the number of the pictures that look stretched and press this button. The chosen pictures will appear in a separate window with the information about their size, length, width, etc.
After that, you need to find the Ratio error within the image. If the Ratio error percentage is written in yellow, then the proportions of your image are not optimal (it doesn’t mean your image is the wrong size, all it means is that it’s not optimal for uploading into the particular section you have chosen). Use your mouse cursor to change the picture size and find its optimal Ratio error. Optimal Ratio error percentage range is between -4% and 4%, which is written in grey color. Then press "Save current selection into new image" and refresh your page to see the result.
We kindly ask you not to add any pictures with signs or advertisings of other websites or photographers! Such pictures will be edited (to remove the advertisement) or, if the advertisements cannot be edited out, then the pictures will be deleted from your diary by our moderator.
Uploading videos is as easy as uploading photos. Upload the video screenshot first and then choose the video clip you wish to upload and click on the "Upload Video" button in the menu.
You can upload up to 5 video-clips for your diary episode and 2 video-clips for your Introduction page. If your video file is too big you can cut it and upload it part by part.
Sometimes uploading videos takes a long time - so we give you a progress meter. While your video is uploading, DON'T REFRESH OR CLOSE THE PAGE!

Videos are generally much larger than pictures, and depending on how you save them (format type) your upload time can be drastically affected. Try to keep these tips in mind when you're shooting your videos:
1. Save your videos in WMV, AVI or MPG format. Generally, WMV is the best.
2. When you're saving the video, save it to a reasonable size, with a maximum of around 640x480 (or 720x480 for widescreen) resolution.
3. The maximum file size we accept is 150MB per movie.
As soon as you have uploaded your photos and videos to your diary episode make sure you double check whether or not your submission is full and complete. If it is full and complete then save all the text and diary date and click on the “Publish diary” icon.
